Current Chair of the Victoria Ball is Derek Sanderson of The Island IT Inc. and his wife Julie co-chairing.

Together, the Sanderson’s have established a rooted connection in the Victoria and Greater area business community. Philanthropically focused, Derek and Julie are actively involved with supporting various community programs.

Proud residents of Victoria, they return their success in the community back to the community via Fundraising and donations. Having proudly supported Shaw Ocean Discovery Center, Young Entrepreneurs Society, Canadian College of Performing Arts, The Courtnall Classic, Victoria Symphony and Royal BC Museum to name a few.

Members of the Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, Downtown Victoria Business Association, RetailCOP, and proud supporters of the SPCA, The Sanderson’s felt compelled putting to use their connections and experience to this fantastic fundraiser for the SPCA.

Derek’s experiences for work and travel have encompassed the globe, with work experience in Brazil, Europe, Saudi Arabia, Asia, the Orient, the UK and India.
