Victoria Youth Clinic

The Victoria Youth Clinic provides comprehensive, primary healthcare services with a multi-disciplinary team in a safe, welcoming, accessible and youth-friendly environment and is free from judgment and bias.

We serve youth aged 12-24, and have a focus on youth who may be at risk for poor health outcomes. Evidence supports that certain populations of youth are pre-disposed to poor health outcomes, and that this population of youth benefit from a non-traditional form of health healthcare.

Our health care team provides a drop-in, youth-friendly health clinic on a part time basis. Their services include assessment and treatment of health problems, the provision of medication and contraceptives, counselling, health teaching and referrals to other health and community services.

The youth clinic partners with community and government to advocate for youth, provides a resource to the community and participates in research, teaching and ongoing education.

The clinic staff are a resource to the community as it relates to the special populations of youth we are committed to.

The Victoria Youth Clinic values youth and celebrates their presence in our community. With a commitment to dignity and diversity of youth, we respect and work to enhance their health. We value accessibility, comprehensiveness and sustainability of services and supports. Our services will also reflect the values of youth autonomy, confidentiality, self-efficacy and diversity.

We would like to thank John Vickers and members of the Victoria Masquerade Ball organizing committee for choosing our organization as recipient of this year’s Ball proceeds!
